About this example

Ada worked at the plant on Route 9 for eleven years. It closed in January with two weeks' notice, and her husband's hours were cut the same month. Their neighbours are covering rent and groceries for six months while she finishes the certification she started in the fall. That is $8,000, and we are nearly there. Ada asked us to say that she would rather be the one giving.
