Where MrsTubs fundraisers are available

Both states regulate charitable fundraising by the platform, not only by the organization raising the money. Each statute above puts registration, reporting and ongoing filing obligations on a site like this one. We chose not to take those on.

That is a decision, not an outage. It costs us two states of donations, including the largest giving market in the country, and it was made knowingly in exchange for never carrying charitable-solicitation exposure in the two states that regulate platforms most closely.

There is no application in progress, no queue, and no date. We are not going to tell you that MrsTubs is "coming soon" to a state we have decided not to enter.

If that decision ever changes, this page changes with it, and it changes before anything else does. Until then, read it as permanent.

If you are giving from one of these states, you cannot complete a gift to a MrsTubs fundraiser. Nothing is wrong with your card and nothing is wrong with the cause. The fundraiser you were looking at may accept gifts from elsewhere, and the organizer can usually tell you another way to give directly.

If you are raising money and your supporters are mostly in one of these states, a MrsTubs fundraiser will turn most of them away. That is worth knowing before you build a campaign on it rather than after.
