The short version
We are the part of MrStubs that does not sell anything.
MrStubs.com has two sections. Mr. Stubs sells event tickets. Mrs. Tubs minds the giving. Same company, same login, two very different jobs.
Where the money goes
Every donation settles into your organization's own Stripe account and its own bank. It does not pass through a MrsTubs account on the way, because there is no MrsTubs account for it to pass through.
We take $0 of a gift. Stripe's card fee is the only money that comes out of a donation, and a donor can choose to cover that too. We are paid by optional tips donors add at checkout, and by nothing else.
Who we are
MrsTubs.com is operated by Black Asterisk LLC. The charge on a donor's statement names the organization they gave to, because the money is the organization's from the moment the card clears.
What we do not do
We do not hold your donation. We do not decide which causes deserve money. We do not appraise whether an organization's tax status makes your gift deductible — that is theirs to attest and yours to verify, and a fundraiser page says what they have attested and nothing more.
There are no advertising trackers on this site. That one is not a promise we ask you to take on trust: it is checked by a test that fails our build if anyone adds one.
Why the two spellings
Mr. Stubs. Mrs. Tubs. One word, two places to split it, one per section. It is not a typo, and we get asked often enough that it now has its own paragraph.
